The search for the winner of the title; Ladies Winmau World Master edges closer to an answer when the two semi-finals are contested today. First up is Deta Hedman V Lorraine Farlam.winmau masters

Deta has had a phenomenal 12 months even by her own high standards and is bidding for her second World Masters title. She was champion in 1994. Deta is up against Lorraine Farlam. Lorraine has also had a terrific couple of years on the tour and has established herself as one of the top lady players.

This match should turn out to be a cracking advert for ladies darts!

The second semi – final is between Julie Gore from Wales and Dutch player Tamara Schuur. Julie is currently ranked third in the rankings and has been extremely consistent. Quarter finals and semis being the norm for Julie in most tournaments have elevated her to the ranking she currently holds. Tamara is currently 7th in the rankings and has hit a good run of form culminating in a final place at The British Open in September
